Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and promoting active lifestyles? Progressive Watford are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sports Coach/Childcare Assistant to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will combine your love for sports coaching with childcare responsibilities to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children. Your enthusiasm will motivate children to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence while ensuring their well-being and enjoyment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and organize age-appropriate sports activities, games, and drills that promote physical development and teamwork
- Ensure the safety of all children during activities by monitoring behavior and maintaining a secure environment
- Assist with childcare duties such as supervising playtime, helping with snacks, and supporting daily routines
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to provide updates on Support.
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
Essential requirements
- Aged 18 years or over
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one)
- Energetic, reliable and engaging with children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
- Childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)
- Previous experience working with children in camps, schools or clubs
Location: Watford
Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm (school holiday camps)
Pay: £13.50 (hourly rate)
