Make a Difference When It Matters Most
Snowdon Care Home is looking for a kind, reliable and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our exceptional team.
We are a small, friendly residential care home located in the beautiful village of Llanberis. Our aim is simple — to provide high-quality care in a warm and supportive environment where individuals feel safe, respected and valued.
Because we are a smaller home, staff are able to really get to know the individuals they support, building meaningful relationships and helping create a genuine sense of home.
Night staff play a vital role in ensuring individuals feel comfortable, safe and reassured throughout the night.
At Snowdon Care Home we believe great care is built on kindness, patience and respect, and we are looking for someone who understands that small acts of kindness can make the biggest difference to someone’s night.
The Role:
As a Night Care Assistant you will support individuals throughout the night to ensure their comfort, safety and wellbeing.
You will help maintain a calm, reassuring environment, respond to individuals’ needs and work alongside colleagues to ensure the home runs smoothly overnight.
Your work will help ensure individuals feel safe, respected and cared for at all times.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting individuals who require assistance during the night
- Providing personal care where required
- Carrying out regular wellbeing and safety checks
- Reassuring individuals who may feel unsettled or anxious overnight
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Ensuring the home environment remains safe, clean and comfortable
- Undertaking light domestic duties including cleaning communal areas, bathrooms and toilets, and assisting with laundry tasks
Our Team Culture
At Snowdon Care Home we believe great care starts with a great team.
Our staff work together in a supportive, respectful and professional environment where everyone is valued and teamwork is essential to delivering high standards of care.
We believe good care takes time. Our team is supported to deliver person-centred care properly, rather than rushing tasks, so individuals are treated with the dignity, patience and respect they deserve.
We are proud of the reliability, professionalism and compassion of our team, and we are looking for someone who shares the same commitment.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
✔ Caring and compassionate
✔ Calm, patient and reassuring
✔ Reliable and dependable
✔ Able to work well as part of a team
✔ Respectful of dignity, independence and choice
Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
