Lancaster Brewery is a well-respected and long-established brewer of Award winning, quality ales and beers. Our beers are sold across the north of England. We now need another member of staff to join our Brewing team to keep up with the demand for our beers.
We are looking for a part-time employee 15 hours per week Typical working hours are from
8.30pm to 4.30pm, Wednesday-Thursday inc breaks
Duties would include but not limited to:
· Cask preparation, Washing and filling.
· Cleaning – both manually and using automated systems.
· Repackaging products for smaller sales.
· Other ad hoc projects as directed by the Head Brewer and/or Operations manager.
· Warehousing duties
Ideally we'd like someone withfork lift licence but not compulsory, This person may also be required on occasion to assist within the distillery for our sister company, The Lancaster Spirits Company.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, punctual and conscientious person, with a eye for detail and high working standards. An interest and passion for working with in the brewing sector would be an advantage. Full training will be provided, so previous experience in production or brewing, though useful, is not essential. A decent level of physical fitness will be required as there are elements of the role that are physically demanding.
