We are looking for a Funeral Arranger, Receptionist & Administrator who will be based at our Dersingham funeral home, but on the very odd occasion may be required to help out at our other funeral homes. You would work day to day alongside Sam, our Branch Manager & Funeral Director at our Dersingham funeral home.
Your role and responsibilities will include being a friendly face who is a caring, helpful and an organised team member. You will be responsible for answering the office phones with a confident and professional telephone manner, arranging funerals with bereaved families, liaising with other necessary professionals in order for the funeral service to be carried out efficiently and professionally. Occasionally, you will be required to prepare the hair and makeup of a deceased. Please note, from time to time, arranging funerals and selling funeral plans will require home visits.
You will be responsible for always maintaining a high standard of personal appearance, speech and conduct with no visible tattoos or facial piercings. It is important that you can demonstrate and use your own initiative and be flexible as our working day can change due to the nature of the business. In this ever changing and interesting role, you will need to have common sense, a keen eye for attention to detail and be comfortable with supporting and reassuring the bereaved.
