The University of Worcester BA (Hons) Graphic Design course is seeking to expand their current pool of sessional Creative Lecturers to contribute to teaching during 2026-27.
Successful candidates will have specialist design knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Motion graphics
Website design
App design
Storyboarding
Video editing
Successful candidates will have specialist software knowledge and experience in the following applications:
After Effects
Cinema 4D
Premiere Pro
Final Cut Pro
Applicants with a portfolio that demonstrates strong storytelling skills and creative thinking, experience in creating websites, motion and video content for brands incorporating visual identity systems and an understanding of the creative process and answering client briefs are encouraged to apply.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a formal interview and asked to deliver a 15-minute teaching session, adopting the role of a lecturer. The topic should centre on one aspect of contemporary Digital & Motion Design and be aimed at level 5 undergraduate students. The session will be presented to the interview panel and be followed by a formal interview process.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate learning and teaching skills suitable for a lecturing post at the Institute of Arts and Humanities, and to show a suitable depth of understanding of their chosen topic. Demonstration of familiarity with academic sources relating to the topic presented is also expected. Once the teaching session has concluded, there will be an opportunity for staff to ask questions related to your teaching.
