- Mobile Refrigeration Engineer
CTR are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer working on a major UK supermarket estate, carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple stores. The work is structured, the expectations are clear, and the on-call rota is planned.
Location: Milton Keynes / Peterborough
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (40 hours)
Annual Salary:
Base Salary £45,141.66 = (40 hr week)
Base Salary + 8% SLA = £48,752.99
Base Salary + SLA + Standby = £51,287.99

Responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites
- Working with CO₂ refrigeration pack systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs or replacements
- Completing PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks during store visits
- Carrying out small alterations and installations within competency
- Ensuring accurate reporting and compliance documentation
Requirements:
- NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Essential)
- F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1) (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ refrigeration experience in commercial/retail environments (Desirable)
- CO₂ refrigeration experience (Training provided if needed)
- Hydrocarbon experience (Training provided if needed)
