Stores Assistant – Engineering & Cutting Tools
Location: HB Tools. Burscough Industrial Estate
We are looking for a Stores Assistant to join our specialist cutting tools branch in Burscough.
This is not a general warehouse position. Our Burscough branch specialises in supplying cutting tools and associated products to engineering and manufacturing companies across the UK.
The position is predominantly office based within our sales office, rather than working in a traditional warehouse environment.
The Role
Working alongside our experienced sales team, your duties will include:
- Booking goods received from suppliers onto our computer system
- Processing and booking goods out to customers
- Checking incoming and outgoing products against orders
- Identifying and handling engineering and cutting-tool products
- Maintaining accurate stock and transaction records
- Liaising with the sales team regarding customer orders and stock
- Assisting with general branch requirements
You should also be reasonably confident using computers, have good attention to detail and be willing to learn our bespoke computer system and product range.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.5 per week
