Our client, Emberline, is a growing plumbing, heating and air conditioning specialist serving customers across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. They provide high-quality domestic heating, plumbing, renewable energy and air conditioning solutions, including boiler installations, heating systems, heat pumps, solar technologies, smart controls and AC installations.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Heating Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established business that is investing in modern technologies and renewable energy solutions while offering long-term career development. The role will involve a mixture of boiler installations, full heating system installations, servicing, repairs and fault finding across domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Install boilers and complete domestic heating system installations.
- Service, maintain and repair heating systems.
- Diagnose and rectify boiler and heating faults.
- Install heating controls and unvented hot water cylinders.
- Carry out safety checks and routine maintenance.
- Complete all work safely and to a high professional standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Accurately complete job sheets, certification and documentation.
- Support the installation and maintenance of renewable heating technologies where required.
Essential Requirements
- Gas Safe Registered.
- ACS Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent).
- Proven experience with domestic boiler and heating installations.
- Strong servicing, repair and fault-finding experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own tools.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Air Source Heat Pump experience.
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Qualification.
- Solar heating experience.
- Knowledge of smart heating controls.
- Renewable energy installation experience.
- F-Gas qualification (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience with domestic air conditioning systems.
