The Role
We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied program of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
- Organise group and one-to-one activities including arts and crafts, music, games, exercise sessions and themed events.
- Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with care staff, families, and volunteers to ensure activities are inclusive and engaging.
- Maintain accurate records of resident involvement and feedback.
- Support residents in maintaining hobbies and exploring new interests.
- Being able to raise funds for the resident's funds and booking entertainment for special occasions.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with older adults is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, energetic, and able to motivate others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centered care.
