The Role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Print Production Operative to join our team. Full ‘on-the-job’ training will be provided. This is an exciting, key role within the company and an excellent opportunity to make a positive and significant contribution to the success of the business.
Responsibilities
· Printing and cutting laminates and vinyl
· Cutting of sign faces on the vinyl cutter
· Carrying out conversions, transferring design drawings to printed format
· Wrapping signs ready for dispatch when required
· The production of road traffic signs inline with customer requirements and road traffic sign regulations
· Ensure that all work is carried out inline with health and safety procedures
· Ensure that all equipment and machinery is used inline with Company procedures and as per training provided
· Report any faults in equipment and/or machinery to appropriate supervisor immediately
About you, ideally you will have:
· Good IT literacy
· Ability to work under own initiative
· Good communication skills
· High level of attention to detail
· Team player
· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
In addition to the above the following would be an advantage:
· Previous experience working within a Print Room
· Knowledge of AutoCAD, KeySOFT and Adobe Illustrator is desirable for the future progression of the role, but is not essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
