Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of building types. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The ideal applicant will possess relevant experience in construction-related trades and be committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install new roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques
- Repair or replace damaged or worn roofing components
- Inspect roofs for damage, leaks, or potential issues and recommend suitable solutions
- Work with other trades such as carpenters, plumbers, or electricians as needed during projects
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building regulations
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing, carpentry, or related construction trades
- Knowledge of construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical systems, and fabrication is advantageous
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting heavy materials and working at heights
- Valid relevant certifications or licences are preferred but not essential
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Commitment to health & safety standards on site

Pay: £100.78-£261.24 per day
Work Location: On the road
