Established in 1918, Millsons Vending are an independent family run business based in East Peckham near Tonbridge, providing a full range of quality beverage and related services to clients in South East England
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team.
Supporting the Commercial Director, this wide ranging role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions within our organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks, maintaining effective communication, and supporting the overall efficiency of the office environment. Prior office experience and strong computer skills are required in this position.
Duties
· Managing incoming calls in a professional manner and directing enquiries appropriately
· Handling correspondence via email and other communication channels
· Performing data entry tasks accurately using Vendmanager (bespoke vending programme), Microsoft Office, and Xero accounting package.
· Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation with attention to detail
· Supporting accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and expense tracking
· Assisting with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
· Providing general administrative support to team members as needed
· Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times
Experience
· Proven office or administrative experience is preferred
· Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
· Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Experience in a Vending business, preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
· Experience with XERO or similar accounting software is advantageous
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
· Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
· Clerical experience that highlights attention to detail and organisational ability
