Tenet Spectrum Ltd is a modern digital training provider specializing in construction sector compliance. We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Freelance Construction Assessor / Nominated Tutor to provide regulatory oversight for our blended e-learning delivery of the Highfield Level 1 Award in Health and Safety within a Construction Environment (RQF).
This is a highly streamlined, asynchronous position designed to fit alongside your existing training or consultancy commitments. Our custom e-learning platform handles the fundamental content delivery and automated exam proctoring. As our Nominated Tutor, your responsibilities are strictly focused on quality assurance, remote compliance checkpoints, verifying digital access logs, and verifying learner readiness for examination gateways.
This role is perfect for an accredited assessor looking for predictable, supplemental income that can be managed entirely on a flexible, remote basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Asynchronous Quality Monitoring: Access the tutor dashboard to audit automated student progression logs and verify that learning hour metrics align with center guidelines.
- Gateway Approvals: Review student mock assessment performance and formally authorize the release of the official Highfield examination.
- Proctoring & Compliance Review: Evaluate system flags or automated invigilation reports for minor anomalies prior to final result submission to the awarding body.
- Audit Compliance: Serve as the named Nominated Tutor on our Highfield center profile and cooperate with brief internal and external quality assurance (IQA/EQA) sampling loops when required.
Mandatory Requirements (Per Highfield Specification)
To comply with awarding body regulations, applicants must possess and maintain the following credentials:
- Teaching/Assessing Qualification: A minimum of a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), PTLLS, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Sector Competence: Verifiable, up-to-date occupational knowledge and experience within the construction sector, evidenced by a current CV, relevant sector certifications, or CPD records.
Benefits, Pay Structure & Work Flexibility
- 100% Remote: Complete your reviews from anywhere within the UK.
- Ultimate Flexibility: No live webinars, no rigid timetables, and no video lecturing. Review and approve student milestones on your own schedule.
- Piece-Rate Compensation Model: To keep invoicing transparent and aligned with your output, this role is paid on a flat piece-rate of £5.00 per completed learner workflow.
- Earning Efficiency: Because our digital infrastructure automatically aggregates and flags all access logs and proctoring data for you, the total administrative oversight time typically averages 5 to 10 minutes total per student across their two primary course checkpoints. This allows for highly efficient volume processing, scaling out to a highly competitive equivalent hourly value (e.g., handling 6 student completions in an hour yields an equivalent of £30.00/hr). Payments are settled monthly via invoice based on logged dashboard sign-offs.
Pay: £13.00-£40.00 per hour
