Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Door Supervisor to oversee access control and maintain safety at our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring entry points, ensuring the safety of all visitors and staff, and preventing unauthorised access. This role requires a strong sense of security awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Security Door Supervisor will play a vital role in safeguarding property, assets, and personnel.
Duties
- Monitor and control access points using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site to maintain security and identify potential hazards or suspicious activity.
- Enforce security policies by checking identification and verifying credentials of visitors and staff.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and visitor logs.
- Assist with loss prevention measures by observing for theft or unauthorised activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors courteously while maintaining security protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security operations or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
- Valid first aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify potential security threats.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations professionally.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and conduct patrols around the premises.
- A recognised security licence or certification as required by local regulations is essential.
