We are seeking a friendly and efficient Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assist customers with their orders in a courteous and professional manner.
- Handle food preparation tasks .
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop area, including cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers positively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different responsibilities as needed.
