We create joyful, community-led experiences where little ones can explore, parents can connect, and childhood is celebrated. Our Mini Clubs encourage children to learn through play, nature, creativity and real-world experiences.
Mini Farmers Club is one of our flagship sessions, giving young children the opportunity to meet friendly farm animals, explore the natural world and build confidence through hands-on learning.
The Role
We're looking for a warm, energetic and reliable Session Leader to co-lead our weekly Mini Farmers Club alongside our resident farmer.
You'll help create a welcoming environment for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups while supporting engaging activities with our visiting animals.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children, loves the outdoors and is passionate about creating memorable experiences for families.
Responsibilities
As a Mini Farmers Club Session Leader, you will:
- Welcome families as they arrive.
- Support the delivery of the session alongside the farmer.
- Encourage children to safely interact with the animals.
- Lead songs, stories and simple group activities where appropriate.
- Help set up and pack away equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean and engaging environment.
- Support children's learning through play and exploration.
- Build positive relationships with children and their parents.
- Follow Parents & Co.'s safeguarding, health and safety policies at all times.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is confident working with babies and young children (0–5 years).
- Is enthusiastic, friendly and approachable.
- Experience with (or passionate about) animals.
- Is organised, punctual and reliable.
- Enjoys being outdoors and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
- Is comfortable around farm animals or has experience working with animals.
- Shares our belief that childhood should be full of curiosity, community and connection.
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- A genuine enthusiasm for creating wonderful experiences for families.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Early Years qualification.
- Farm experience
