Overview
We are looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Office Administration Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a very varied role, in addition to your own administrative duties, it will involve taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the office, supervising and supporting the administrative team and the wider business. This is an office based role with no opportunity for remote working. We are a small family run manufacturing business specialising in fluid sealing solutions. You do not need knowledge of the industry to carry out this role. We supply customers all over the world with our products and they are used in a wide variety of industries.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage office and staff; sales support, accounts and customer care, to include annual reviews (5 staff) and leave requests.
2. Ensuring day-to-day administrative duties are carried out in a timely manner; quotations, orders, despatch, invoicing, credit applications, payroll etcetera, to include carrying out these administrative duties when necessary.
3. Working to resolve any sales or customer related issues.
4. Producing Sales Reports for monthly meetings.
5. Export documentation and proof of deliveries.
6. Responsibility for our social media accounts and blog.
7. Working with and supporting our customer care administrator.
8. Purchase Ledger and other day to day accounting tasks.
9. Responsibility for day-to-day HR issues.
10. Liaise with external service suppliers eg: cleaning, safety shoes.
11. Other duties as reasonably requested.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Previous supervisory experience in an office environment.
2. Experience in sales administration.
3. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
5. Ability to prioritise workload.
6. Proactive approach.
7. Experience with day to day accounting tasks.
8. Day to day HR experience.
9. Experience with MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
10. Flexible and enthusiastic.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 8.15am – 5.00pm
Fri 8.15am – 12.45pm
Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
