Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and ensure a positive first impression
- Manage guest entry, verifying age where applicable, and monitor access to the premises
- Provide assistance with seating arrangements and answer guest enquiries courteously
- Support the overall safety and security of the venue by monitoring guest behaviour and enforcing house policies
- Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness and organisation of entry areas
- Assist in upselling beverages, tickets, or promotional items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times, adhering to dress code standards
- Support other team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash handling procedures
- Experience with kitchen operations or culinary environments is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanour
- Organised with attention to detail in managing guest flow and venue security
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
