Support Worker/Waking Night Support Worker
Pay Scale: Band C
Salary: Starting from £24,454 per annum
Hours: Ranging between 20–30 hours per week (hours to be discussed for the right candidate)

Our overnight respite service, Dragons Retreat is looking for enthusiastic, positive and flexible individuals to join our friendly team of Support Workers.
At We Are Beams, one of Kent's largest and most successful children's charities, our mission is to support disabled children, young people and their families. We provide high quality care and support to young people aged 9-19 with a wide range of disabilities.
We are interested in hearing from applicants for both:
· Waking Night Support Workers (night shifts only), and
· Support Workers who are happy to work a variety of shift patterns.
The role involves working shifts across a seven-day rota, including evenings, weekends, and some unsociable hours. Successful applicants will receive at least two days off each week, including at least one weekend off per month.
We ask that all staff are educated to at least NVQ Level 3 Working with Children & Young People. If you do not already hold this qualification, don’t worry - We Are Beams will support successful applicants to achieve it.
These positions are based at our overnight respite unit in Hextable, Swanley but will require the ability to work in the community as required.
