We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team in a long established family run business. You will provide support and assist in achieving a well organised and effecietly run store.The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented and has excellent communication and customer service skills along with a polite, friendly personality. Our staff are the face of our business and influence the customers experience.
Duties:
-Welcoming and greeting customers
- Assist with cash and card sales and daily administrative tasks
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information
- Process orders and follow up on deliveries
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for achieving sales goals
- Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction - Replenish stock and date rotation - Unpacking and sorting new stock delivery - Aranging products on shelves and promotional disdplays - Handling product returns and payment refunds -- Keep store clean and presentable - Carry out freshness checks - Completeing tasks as delegated by supervisor - Age verification of customers purchasing restricted goods
Requirements:
- Expererience essential
- Excellent standard of English and Math
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to upsell products and services
- Strong time management skills - Work well under pressure and without constant supervision - Willing to pick up extra shifts to cover holidays - Positive attitude and self motivated - Able to use thier own initiative - Competent, reliable, punctual - Look clean and profeesional with smart appearance - Physical fitness,lifting stock and prolonged standing - Must be over 18
