Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to support our operations by transporting and delivering goods between our branches. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent driving skills, effective communication abilities and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- To transport and deliver goods between branches as directed.
- Check the transfer invoices to ensure all parts are for the correct branch.
- Keep to the run timetable.
- On arrival at the branches, make sure all stock is removed from the van.
- On return to the branch, place any returns from branches in the correct areas.
- Warehouse duties will include checking supplier deliveries, locating stock in the warehouse, picking stock for other branches and for customer dispatch, checking customer returns and completing daily stock takes.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years warehouse experience.
- Valid driving licence.
- Excellent driving skills proven through 2 years driving experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Familiarity with the geographical area of Oldham and surrounding regions.
