Duties
- Assist with the safe demolition of structures, including removing debris and preparing sites for subsequent construction phases
- Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision to support demolition activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Assist with site setup and breakdown, including moving materials and equipment around the site
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Valid CSCS card demonstrating compliance with construction site safety standards
- Experience or willingness to learn carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, or fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in demolition and construction tasks
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work safely as part of a team in a busy construction environment
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to demolition sites
Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
