Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Self-Employed Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods across various locations, ensuring timely and professional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in logistics or warehouse operations. As a self-employed contractor, you will manage your own schedule while representing our company with integrity and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to multiple destinations within designated areas
- Load and unload items with proper handling techniques
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt of goods
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times or issues that may arise
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role, preferably with multi-drop experience
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Organised with the ability to plan routes effectively and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills to operate independently as a self-employed contractor
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and safety standards
- Must be physically fit to undertake the demands of the role and able to work flexible hours as required
Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
