Job description To implement care plans by directly providing practical, physical, social and emotional care in client’s own homes. To create a supportive atmosphere in which clients can achieve maximum independence. You will provide care according to the client’s specific diagnosis and needs. Your duties will include:
- Communicating effectively with the client, the multi disciplinary team
- Keeping accurate, factual written accounts of your time with the client
- Following the - Carers Policy, as outlined in the handbook
- An awareness of the client’s emotional and spiritual needs
- Observing and following the Health and Safety policy
It is the responsibility of each member of staff to prevent and control infection Your duties may include:
- Washing an bathing
- Use of bath aids
- Assisting the client to shave
- Mouth Care
- Assisting the client to dress and undress
- Eye care
- Pressure area care
- Exercise as appropriate to the client’s abilities
- Moving and handling
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £13.10 per hour
