Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within various environments, including residential settings and healthcare facilities. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while adhering to health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Assist with the organisation of spaces, ensuring that items are returned to their designated locations.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, particularly in hospital environments, to maintain a safe and hygienic atmosphere.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures in hospital settings is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
