Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years' relevant management experience within the media, creative, digital content, production, or a related sector.
Strong leadership, business development, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Job Purpose
The Managing Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the company. The role involves overseeing business operations, driving commercial growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of media production, digital content, and creative projects. The post holder will be responsible for achieving the company's commercial objectives while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company's short-term and long-term strategic objectives to support sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations and quality standards.
Identify and secure new business opportunities, establish commercial partnerships, and develop strategies to increase revenue and strengthen the company's market position.
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, production partners, contractors, creative professionals, and other key stakeholders.
Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of media production, digital content, creative campaigns, and related projects from concept through to completion.
Monitor industry developments, technological advancements, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and business growth.
Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and overall business performance to ensure the achievement of commercial targets.
Lead the recruitment, management, performance monitoring, and professional development of employees, freelancers, contractors, and other personnel engaged by the company.
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and company requirements, including employment legislation, health and safety obligations, data protection regulations, and commercial agreements.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, networking functions, and client meetings to promote the business and develop strategic partnerships.
Provide leadership, direction, and support across all departments to ensure the effective delivery of business objectives and operational excellence.
Prepare and present business reports, performance reviews, and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Pay: £45,000.00 per year
