Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Seafood Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on seafood dishes. Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of seafood dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes.
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and presented attractively to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
- Assist in meal preparation during busy periods, supporting other kitchen staff as needed.
- Monitor stock levels of seafood ingredients and communicate shortages or needs to management promptly.
- Serve dishes to customers with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new seafood recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting specialising in seafood.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Previous experience in meal preparation, culinary arts, or similar roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with an organised approach to kitchen operations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
- A genuine passion for seafood cuisine and delivering memorable dining experiences to guests.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
