Job Summary
Braddicks Leisure is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef de Partie for a seasonal position, offering accommodation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting two kitchen teams in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the The Pier House and Waterfront Inn standards and menu specifications
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen operations during service
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
- Support all food preparation processes, including meal preparation and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with other team members including front of house to ensure efficient service delivery
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control as required
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal presentation standards
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Previous experience working in a restaurant setting or similar hospitality environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy service periods
