We are looking for an organised, numerically confident and proactive Finance & Short-Term Rental Operations Manager to join our growing property management company in London.
The primary focus of the role will be managing the day-to-day financial administration of our residential property portfolio, including rent reconciliation, payment monitoring, property expenses and new property account setup.
Alongside this, you will oversee our portfolio of approximately 8 short-term rental properties across Central London, managing bookings, guest communications and overall property performance across Airbnb and Booking.com.
This is a varied role suited to someone who is excellent with numbers but also confident communicating with tenants, guests, contractors and the wider team.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Accounts – Primary
- Complete monthly rent reconciliation across our property portfolio.
- Monitor rent payments and follow up outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate tenant payment and financial records.
- Prepare landlord, supplier and contractor payments for approval.
- Reconcile invoices, expenses and property costs.
- Produce regular rent arrears and finance reports.
- Set up utilities, council tax, broadband and payments for new properties.
- Assist with deposits and general financial administration.
Short-Term Rental Operations
- Manage our portfolio of short-term rental properties.
- Manage Airbnb and Booking.com bookings and guest communication.
- Monitor pricing, calendars and occupancy.
- Coordinate cleaners, check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, reviews, refunds and claims.
- Coordinate maintenance with our property management team.
- Identify opportunities to improve guest experience, occupancy and revenue.
Qualifications
- Experience in finance, accounts, bookkeeping or financial administration.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Confident using Excel, Google Sheets and other business systems.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Trustworthy and comfortable working with sensitive financial information.
- Property management, hospitality or short-term rental experience is advantageous.
- Experience with Airbnb, Booking.com or Guesty is advantageous but not essential.
