As our business continues to develop, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to support the day-to-day operation of our office systems, customer accounts, and workflow management.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure and organisation to a busy environment and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Construction industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with a positive attitude, strong organisational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the administrative function of the business, ensuring our systems remain up to date, customer and supplier information is accurately maintained, and workflows progress efficiently.
You will be working closely with the management team to help improve processes, maintain records, and support general business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining company systems and databases
- Managing customer, supplier and subcontractor records
- Supporting account administration, including invoice and payment tracking
- Assisting with document control and record management
- Monitoring workflow progress and ensuring key actions are completed
- Maintaining accurate project and contract information
- Preparing and organising administrative reports and documentation
- Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Supporting managers with general administrative duties
- Identifying opportunities to improve office procedures and efficiency
- Ensuring all information entered into company systems is accurate and up to date
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration experience
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Learns new software and systems quickly
- Has strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Is reliable, proactive and self-motivated
- Brings a positive and professional attitude to work every day
- Works well independently and as part of a team
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Experience working within construction, contracting, property or trade-based businesses
- Experience with accounts administration, invoicing or bookkeeping support
- Experience using CRM, project management or scheduling software
