Compliance & Reporting Coordinator
Hours: 6.5 hours per day – paid for 6 hours, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Monday to Friday- Office Based.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused individual to join our team and take responsibility for the effective capture, management and reporting of important operational and compliance information across the business.
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of several key business processes. You will work closely with Managers and other departments to make sure information is captured accurately, records are kept up to date, required actions are followed through and useful reports are available to help us identify trends and continually improve our performance.
What you'll be responsible for
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Cleaning audits – supporting and administering our external cleaning audit process, including creating and maintaining audit templates for Managers to complete their monthly contract audits.
- Audit monitoring – tracking completion of monthly audits, following up where information is outstanding and helping to ensure audit information is accurate and consistent across the business.
- Carbon and environmental reporting – maintaining records and collating the information required to support our environmental and carbon reporting.
- Accidents and incidents – maintaining accurate records of people-related accidents and incidents and ensuring the appropriate information is captured and kept up to date.
- Data and reporting – producing regular reports that help identify trends, recurring issues and areas requiring attention.
- Information management – ensuring key records, systems and documentation are accurate, organised and maintained.
- Manager support and follow-up – liaising with Managers across the business to obtain information and ensure agreed audits, reporting and compliance requirements are completed on time.
- Continuous improvement – helping us improve the way information is captured and reported so that our data can be used to support better business decisions.
About you
We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure and organisation to processes and who takes pride in getting the detail right.
You will ideally:
- Have strong administration and organisational skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Be confident working with data, spreadsheets and business systems.
- Be comfortable producing and maintaining reports.
- Be proactive and able to manage your own workload and deadlines.
- Be confident communicating with Managers and following up when information or actions are outstanding.
- Be able to spot inconsistencies or gaps in information and take action to resolve them.
- Be comfortable handling sensitive information appropriately.
- Have a positive, practical approach to improving administrative processes.
Previous experience of audits, compliance, environmental reporting or accident and incident administration would be useful, but strong administration skills, attention to detail and the ability to learn our processes are equally important.
Pay: £16.50 per hour
