Duties
- Provide direct support, assisting with daily activities and personal care needs
- Develop and implement tailored care plans that address individual goals and requirements
- Support in educational, recreational, and social activities to promote engagement and development
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery
- Monitor progress and document observations accurately to inform ongoing support strategies
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, ensuring a secure environment for everyone involved
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people in a caring or support role
- Ability to create, follow, and adapt care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and team members
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping, reporting, and communication purposes
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being
