The Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator to join our sales team and play a leading role in converting valuations into instructions, matching buyers to the right properties, and driving transactions through to successful exchange and completion alongside our in-house sales progressors.
This is a senior, client-facing role suited to a confident, target-driven property professional who thrives on negotiation and wants to take on more responsibility, such as mentoring junior negotiators, managing a busy pipeline, and helping shape how the branch performs.

· Conduct viewings and follow up promptly and professionally to secure feedback and offers
· Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties
· Progress agreed sales through to exchange and completion, liaising with solicitors, mortgage brokers, and other agents in the chain to keep transactions moving
· Support and contribute to valuations and new instructions, helping to build the branch's pipeline
· Build long-term relationships with buyers, sellers, developers, and referral partners to generate repeat and recommended business
· Maintain accurate records on the branch CRM, ensuring GDPR and regulatory compliance at every stage
· Mentor and support junior negotiators, helping to raise standards across the team
· Represent Sims Williams professionally at all times, in line with our reputation for a straightforward, personal service
What We're Looking For
· Proven experience as a sales negotiator, ideally at senior level, within UK residential estate agency
· A strong track record of converting viewings into offers and progressing sales to completion
· Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
· Sound working knowledge of the sales process, conveyancing chain, and current property legislation
· A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
· Local knowledge of Chichester and the surrounding West Sussex area is a strong advantage
· A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
What We Offer
· A competitive basic salary plus a commission structure rewarding strong performance
· The backing of an independent, 40-year-established local agency with a strong reputation and high customer satisfaction
· A supportive, experienced team with over 300 years of combined property knowledge
· Genuine scope to progress within a growing, privately owned agency
· Ongoing training and development, including support towards professional qualifications
