We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Fryer to oversee the preparation and cooking of fried dishes within our busy takeaway.

Responsibilities
- Lead the frying station, ensuring all fried items are prepared to the highest standard of quality and presentation.
- Oversee the preparation of ingredients, including cleaning, cutting, and organising supplies for efficient workflow.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and optimal taste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the frying area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service times effectively.
- Ensure all food is stored correctly, adhering to safety guidelines to prevent contamination or spoilage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, particularly with frying techniques within a kitchen setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and food safety standards.
- Previous frying experience is highly desirable, especially in fast-paced environments requiring efficient multitasking.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene in commercial kitchens.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous serving experience is advantageous but not essential.
