Are you an experienced Customer Service Advisor with a background in internal sales or customer support? Do you enjoy building strong customer relationships, solving problems and delivering excellent service?
We're looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our clients busy Customer Service team in Glasgow. You'll play a key role in supporting customers from enquiry through to order fulfilment, ensuring a smooth and professional experience while working closely with colleagues across sales, engineering and operations.

Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.

Preparing accurate quotations in line with agreed pricing structures.

Processing customer orders using the ERP system.

Reviewing orders to ensure all customer requirements can be fulfilled.

Keeping customers updated on delivery schedules and any changes.

Providing advice on suitable products, alternatives and new product ranges.

Liaising with internal departments to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.

Supporting customers with technical queries by working alongside the engineering team where required.

Delivering a high standard of after-sales support.

Building long-term relationships with customers through excellent service.

Working towards departmental objectives and maintaining compliance with company quality and health & safety procedures.

Previous experience in a Customer Service, Internal Sales or Sales Support role.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong administration and organisational skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience using an ERP system.

A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.

NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Customer Service.

Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical environment.

Knowledge of engineering or industrial products.
