Job title: Production assembler
Salary: £25000 – £27000 per annum
Job summary:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mobile sink units to a high standard, following manufacturing drawings, work instructions and production orders while ensuring quality and safety requirements are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble mobile sink units from production orders and work instructions
- Carry out both mechanical and electrical assembly operations
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including drills, rivet guns and other assembly equipment
- Complete cable looming and cable routing as required
- Strip, crimp and terminate wires when applicable
- Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Report any production issues, shortages and quality concerns to the Production Manager
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
- Follow any company health and safety procedures
- Assist with other production activities as required
Skills and experience:
- Experience in manufacturing or production environment
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with cable looming
- Experience stripping and crimping wires
- Basic electrical assembly experience
- Previous experience assembling mechanical products or equipment
