About the Role
Angel Anna People and Business Services Ltd provides human resources support, employee administration, recruitment coordination and outsourced business services to organisations across the United Kingdom.
We are looking for an organised, approachable and detail-focused HR Coordinator to support daily human resources activities across the employee lifecycle.
The successful candidate will maintain personnel records, prepare HR documentation, coordinate onboarding and recruitment activities and respond to routine employee enquiries. You will work closely with managers, employees, payroll contacts and external service providers to ensure HR processes are completed accurately and professionally.
This mid-level position is suitable for candidates with experience in human resources administration, recruitment coordination, employee services, payroll support or office administration.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Records: Create, update and maintain accurate employee records in accordance with company procedures.
Onboarding Coordination: Prepare new-starter documents, arrange induction activities and coordinate system and workplace access.
Recruitment Support: Assist with vacancy administration, candidate communication, interview scheduling and application records.
Employment Documentation: Prepare approved contracts, offer letters, change letters and other employee correspondence.
HR Enquiries: Respond to routine questions about policies, leave, benefits, payroll dates and employment procedures.
Probation Tracking: Monitor probation review dates and remind managers about required meetings and documentation.
Leave Administration: Maintain holiday, sickness and other absence records and follow up on missing information.
Payroll Coordination: Provide approved employee changes, absence information and payroll documentation to the relevant team.
Benefits Administration: Support enrolment, changes and employee communications relating to company benefits.
Training Records: Maintain employee training, certification and professional-development information.
Meeting Coordination: Arrange HR meetings, prepare relevant documents and record agreed actions when required.
Policy Administration: Assist with issuing updated policies, recording acknowledgements and maintaining current versions.
HR Reporting: Prepare routine reports covering headcount, absence, recruitment, training and employee changes.
Data Protection: Handle employee information confidentially and follow approved retention and access procedures.
Process Improvement: Identify recurring administrative issues and recommend practical improvements to HR workflows.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, employee services or a related role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Professional communication skills when supporting employees and managers.
- Experience preparing employment documents and routine correspondence.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and HR systems.
- Ability to manage several deadlines and changing priorities.
- Understanding of confidentiality and responsible employee-data handling.
- Ability to respond calmly and professionally to sensitive enquiries.
- Good teamwork and stakeholder-support skills.
- Dependable and proactive approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related subject.
- CIPD qualification or progress toward a relevant HR certification.
- Previous experience supporting onboarding, recruitment, payroll or employee benefits.
- Familiarity with human resources information systems or applicant-tracking systems.
- Basic understanding of UK employment procedures, right-to-work checks and data protection.
- Experience maintaining absence, probation and training records.
- Previous experience in professional services, outsourcing or a multi-client business environment.
- Additional language skills are advantageous but not required.
Pay: £25,420.00-£41,967.09 per year
