Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Caseworker to join our dynamic legal team (Solicitor firm). In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting case management, legal research, and client communication efforts. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help ensure smooth case progression and compliance with legal procedures. Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys by preparing legal documents, correspondence, and case files with precision and timeliness
- Conduct thorough research using legal databases, public records, and other resources to support case development
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and appointments efficiently using Microsoft Outlook and other organizational tools
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and external agencies via phone, email, or in-person meetings in clear English
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with confidentiality standards
- Support the preparation of court filings, reports, and summaries using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and track case progress to meet all deadlines promptly
Experience
- Proven experience as a paralegal or caseworker in a legal or social services environment is preferred but not required; relevant internships are welcome
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with IT systems for data management
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and effective time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy
- Demonstrated understanding of legal terminology, procedures, or social service protocols is advantageous
- Farsi/Dari/Turkish/Kurdish bilinguals are preferred
- Experience in Immigration/Family/Litigation/Property preferred
Qualifications:
LLB/LLM/LPC preferable

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
