Opportunity for a male candidate to work 1:1 with a 19-year-old male with Autism and complex needs on an established home programme. Full training provided in ABA and other therapeutic interventions.
Candidate MUST be physically fit, active and able to keep up with an energetic young man.
Role
The position involves delivering a home education and support programme using behavioural and therapeutic approaches to develop communication, independence, and community living skills.
Community activities include daily runs, gym sessions, swimming, cycling, bike riding, visits to Meanwood Urban Valley Farm, and other local outings. The role is active and outdoors-focused — you will be on your feet and physically engaged throughout the day.
The programme has been running successfully for over 13 years and is structured and overseen by Skybound Therapies, with bi-weekly visits from a Consultant and Occupational Therapist, and regular Personal Trainer sessions.
A male candidate is required for safeguarding reasons and due to personal care requirements.
This position is suitable for anyone with an interest in autism, sports coaching, care, psychology, occupational therapy, SEN, or ABA.

Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in SEN, ABA, care or support work

Hours & Pay
Full-Time (PAYE): 30 hours/week — Sunday 11am–6pm fixed, weekday hours agreed around your availability. Approx £19,827/yr (National Living Wage £12.71/hr + holiday pay, pension & employer NI). Saturdays off.
Part-Time (Self-Employed): 15–20 hours/week — Sunday 11am–6pm fixed plus agreed weekday sessions. £15–£18/hr.
Weekday scheduling is flexible and built around the right candidate.
Position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.
Pay: £12.71-£18.00 per hour
