Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated station in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold food safety standards
- Support the training of junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, food presentation, and kitchen organization
- Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred
