Responsibilities

- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
- Serve dishes to guests when required, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and contamination
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Previous experience in meal preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is desirable but not essential for entry-level candidates
