Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Baby Unit Manager to lead and oversee our dedicated nursery team. As the Baby Unit Manager, you will coordinate daily operations, implement best practices in early childhood education, and maintain excellent communication with families and team members. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise baby unit staff to deliver exceptional childcare services aligned with best practices in early childhood education.
- Develop and implement daily schedules that promote developmental milestones, safety, and well-being for infants.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across the baby unit at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate records related to child attendance, health information, and incident reports.
- Foster a warm, caring environment that encourages positive interactions between children and staff while promoting emotional security.
Experience
- Proven management experience within childcare settings or nurseries, preferably with infants or very young children.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare environments.
- Strong understanding of childcare regulations, health & safety protocols, and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English to liaise confidently with families and team members.
- Nursery experience or background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation duties or outreach activities.
