Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide essential support within our office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining effective communication across departments. Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
- Organising and maintaining physical and electronic files to ensure easy retrieval of information
- Performing data entry tasks accurately
- Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management for team members
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
- Handling general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mail distribution
- Supporting the team with various clerical tasks to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
Requirements
- Proven office experience or administrative experience demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Experience in clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
