Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Nights Airfreight Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of airfreight consignments during night shifts. Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport airfreight consignments during night shifts, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan routes effectively using transportation management systems to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays.
- Manage documentation accurately, including manifests, delivery notes, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) submissions, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant standards.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety standards are maintained; report any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in logistics or freight transportation, preferably within airfreight or time-sensitive environments.
