Come and be part of our great domestic team here at Rylands. We currently have a position for a domestic assistant working 24 hours per week. The position is on a rota basis from 8am to 2pm inclusive of weekends. i.e. Monday to Sunday.
Hourly rate of pay:
Age 21 and over is £13.03
Age 18 to 20 is £12.22
24 hours per week
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning of all areas ie bedrooms, bathroom facilities, corridors, offices, inside windows, residents' dining room, lounges and all fixtures and fittings.
Care and use of equipment for cleaning.
Adhere to cleaning schedules and hygiene practices.
Cross infection precautions.
Ability to work as part of a team adapting to varying circumstances and new methods.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Complete elearning as part of essential training.
Attend face to face training.
Experience is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
If employed by Rylands Nursing Home you will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure check. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
