Saturday nursing position NHS urgent care and Private services.
We are seeking a dental nurse to join our new growing practice in Norwich city centre.
We are a new private practice, offing various cometic treatments, orthodontics and oral surgery. We also have an urgent care contract for weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow within the practice.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Perform administrative tasks as required, including managing stock levels of dental supplies and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a positive environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
- Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software.
- Proficient in the use of Dentally
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- previous experience needed, we would consider a skilled trainee
- High standards of cross infection and surgery presentation
