Overview
We are seeking a experienced Nights Manager to oversee our operations during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hospitality experience, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. This role is vital in ensuring smooth night-time operations, exceptional guest services, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency throughout the premises. The Nights Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive environment that promotes teamwork, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all activities during the night shift, ensuring operational standards are met consistently.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to optimise performance.
- Oversee guest services to ensure guests receive exceptional hospitality experiences, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage human resources functions including scheduling, attendance monitoring, and resolving staff issues in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks and risk assessments.
- Liaise with other departments to facilitate smooth communication and operational continuity across shifts.
- Monitor financial transactions and maintain accurate records of daily operations.
- Implement company policies and procedures effectively while fostering a positive working environment.
- Handle guest complaints or escalations with professionalism and tact, aiming for swift resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and security of the premises during the night hours.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.
- Experience in staff management including staff scheduling, training, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, health & safety standards, and hotel procedures.
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism at all times. Pay: £24,420.00-£44,604.23 per year
