We are delighted to announce a unique opportunity for a passionate unqualified Nursery Assistant to join our Nursery. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong desire to support the development and well-being of young children. Hours are fully flexible and can be discussed.
Salary is dependent on age and experience.
Responsibilities
- To adhere to the Nursery’s policies and procedures at all times
- To carry out other duties and responsibilities as requested by your Team Leader or the Management Team.
- To attend staff meetings and parents’ evenings as requested, be involved in fundraising events and assist with the promotion of the Nursery as required
- Support the Team Leader in managing daily routines and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with the team to enhance individual learning experiences.
- Contribute to reports, attend meetings and facilitate communication as the child grows in the setting.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
- A proactive drive to contribute positively to the nursery environment and support children's learning journeys.
