CIS Carpenter (Self-Employed) — £22.50–£27.50/hr
Carroll Construction Services Ltd is a Bristol-based construction firm delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects — from loft conversions and renovations to bespoke joinery and compliance-focused commercial works.We’re looking for an experienced CIS Carpenter to join our team on a self-employed basis.
Location
- Bristol and surrounding areas (local work)
Pay
- £22.50–£27.50 per hour (rate dependent on experience and capability)
What you’ll be doing
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Studwork, partitions, and general site carpentry
- Doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and ironmongery
- Bespoke/joinery work where required (wardrobes, media walls, etc.)
- Working as part of a small, reliable team with high standards.
- Some demo work from time to time.
What we need from you
- Proven experience across all aspects of carpentry
- Own tools (suitable for professional site work)
- Own transport (must be able to travel to sites)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your finish
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and a professional attitude with clients and other trades
Nice to have
- Experience on loft conversions and renovations
- Fire door experience (or willingness to learn)
