Office Administrator
We’re currently looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Rotherham.
This is a varied role working alongside our Office Manager and providing administration support across our construction businesses. You’ll play an important part in keeping the office organised and running smoothly, with a particular focus on accurate record keeping, compliance and general office administration.
This is a part-time role working 9am – 3pm, Monday – Friday.
Role responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls and visitors to head office, dealing with queries where possible and directing them to the appropriate team member when required
- General office administration including emails, post, filing, printing, copying and scanning
- Maintaining an organised and accurate electronic filing system using OneDrive
- Supporting the Office Manager with the administration of financial information, including ensuring invoices and supporting documentation are accurately recorded and filed
- Ensuring the business has all relevant and up-to-date certifications, accreditations, insurances and other compliance documents on file
- Helping to keep staff and subcontractor records and documentation up to date
- Ordering materials, office supplies and other stock as required
- Assisting with the management of company websites, social media accounts and Google pages
- Arranging accommodation and travel bookings
- Preparing information and reports for the directors when required
- Liaising with office staff, site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
- Providing general support to the Office Manager and wider business as required
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in an office administration role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating professionally with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience using SAGE would be desirable but is not essential
- Able to manage and prioritise a varied workload
- Reliable, approachable and able to work well as part of a small team
- A flexible attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: £21,000.00 per year
